NOVA.emoSTOP
Medical device for the dressing of superficial wounds that promotes the formation of a clot near the wound, rapidly stopping the bleeding.
Hemostatic swab indicated for the topical treatment of superficial skin lesions such as nosebleeds, abrasions, grazes, cuts, small surgical wounds and, in particular, for emergency treatment of wounds with exudate.
How to use
Nosebleeds: Blow your nose to clear any clots. Use a swab or a small piece of it, inserting it into your nostril and applying gentle pressure.
Minor external wounds (cuts, injection sites, abrasions, razor burns): Clean the wound and apply the pad, applying light pressure. Leave the pad on the wound until bleeding stops, or for no longer than 30 minutes. Repeat the application twice daily for as long as necessary.
Components
PE/PET viscose fiber containing NOVACLOT 10% [aqueous solution of ferric ammonium citrate (FAC) and rock alum), colloidal silica, ethylene-vinyla-cetat-copolymer.
Warnings
External use. Do not ingest. Do not use on deep wounds, damaged skin, or wounds with ongoing infections. Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. It may cause local burning if applied to sensitive or already irritated skin. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if the container is damaged. Do not use for continuous periods exceeding 7 days. Consult your pharmacist or doctor if using other products on the wound at the same time. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Conservation
Store away from light, in a cool, dry place.
