BIOMAVAL
Food for special medical purposes based on sodium butyrate and Kluyveromyces marxianus fragilis B0399, indicated for the dietary treatment of subjects with chronic intestinal inflammatory processes and altered trophism of the intestinal mucosa (colon).
Ingredients
Sodium butyrate; bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate; glazing agents: shellac, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, talc, glycerol; Turval Kluyver K-B0399 {lactic yeast Kluyveromyces marxianus fragilis B0399 [BCCM/MUCL 55798 (41579)]}; anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; colouring: calcium carbonate.
How to use
The daily dose must be established and monitored by a physician based on the individual's characteristics. The recommended dosage is one to two tablets per day, taken in two separate doses, morning and evening, on an empty stomach. The tablets should be swallowed whole, one at a time, with a sufficient amount of water. Do not break the tablets, as this could compromise the integrity of the enteric-coated tablet.
Warnings
This product should be used under the direction and supervision of a physician. It is not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition. Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
