Descriptive sheet paidinil
Description
Strawberry-flavored food for special medical purposes.
Tissue neuroinflammation is a biological process that in pediatric age, due to neuroimmune immaturity, can become uncontrolled, altering the normal development of tissues, including the peripheral and/or central nervous system. The clinical manifestations of neuroinflammation in pediatric age depend on the affected body area and predispose the individual to recurrent respiratory syndromes and dermo-epidermal manifestations (dermatitis of various etiologies).
Under these conditions, the body, subjected to recurring neuroinflammatory phenomena caused by exposure to multiple factors (viruses, bacteria, allergens, stressful situations, hormones, etc.), tends to exhaust its capacity to synthesize endogenous palmitoylethanolamide, a natural substance also present in breast milk, which has marked protective properties and promotes the function of the nervous and immune systems.
Palmitoylethanolamide, present in paidinil chewable tablets in ultra-micronized form (PEA-um), has been shown to control neuroinflammation in various tissues, including the respiratory and mucocutaneous tissues.
It is to be used under medical supervision, for the dietary regime, in situations of uncontrolled neuroinflammation, of pediatric patients over 7 years of age with:
1. Recurrent respiratory syndromes:
- Recurrent respiratory infections
- Allergic-inflammatory conditions
2. Dermo-epidermal manifestations (dermatitis of various etiologies).
Gluten- free and lactose- free.
