PEGinpol

Description
A medical device with laxative action that, through an osmotic mechanism, naturally regulates the bowel movement. Thanks to its affinity for water, PEGinpol softens stool, facilitating evacuation without causing cramps, abdominal pain, or urgency. Its effectiveness does not diminish over time. It is neither absorbed nor fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa, and is eliminated unchanged in the stool.
Ingredients
Macrogol 3350; excipients: silicon dioxide, flavouring, sodium saccharin.
Gluten and lactose free.
How to use
From 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg) : 1-2 sachets per day.
From 2 to 11 years (from 12 kg to 20 kg) : 2-4 sachets per day.
Over 11 years (or > 20 kg) : 2-6 sachets per day.
Dissolve the contents of one sachet (5 g) in approximately 1/2 glass of water (approximately 62.5 ml) or another drink (e.g. tea, milk, fruit juice), provided it is at room temperature.
The daily dosage can be divided into several administrations. The dose can be increased or decreased depending on individual response to treatment. In any case, it is advisable to consult your doctor for the most appropriate dosage.
Use the product in children only after medical advice. The maximum dosage required is usually 6 sachets per day.
Warnings
The oral suspension must be prepared at the time of administration.
It is recommended not to take larger quantities than indicated, as higher doses may cause the onset of unexpected side effects.
Do not use PEGinpol for more than 30 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Do not take if intolerant to the product.
Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to the components and to Polyethylene Glycol.
Do not use in children under 6 months.
During treatment with PEGinpol, it is advisable to follow an appropriate diet accompanied by the administration of an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to avoid dehydration; however, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Do not take if the pouch is damaged.
Each sachet is single-use and should be taken only at the time of use.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in the original packaging. The expiration date indicated refers to the product stored correctly in its original packaging.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
