CONVEX PLATE IN DURAHESIVEstoma plate.
Characteristics:
the coupling flange allows for a hermetic seal between the bag and the plate, which can be heard with an audible "click".
The presence of Durahesive in the composition of the moldable pads makes the skin barrier particularly suitable for rather liquid evacuations.
While traditional skin barriers can deteriorate upon contact with waste, the Durahesive barrier swells, creating a so-called “turtle neck” effect to protect the stoma and peristomal skin.
