What is it and what is it for?
Preparation H is an antihemorrhoidal medicine that contains the active ingredient Saccharomyces Cerevisiae cell extract.

Preparation H is used for the treatment of:
• uncomplicated external and internal hemorrhoids;
• anal fissures.

Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short time of treatment, or if the disorder occurs repeatedly, or if you have noticed any recent changes in its characteristics.


What you need to know before taking the medicine
DO NOT use Preparation H
• if you are allergic to Saccharomyces Cerevisiae cell extract or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).


Warnings and precautions
Talk to your pharmacist before using Preparation H.

Take special care and consult your doctor:
• if you use Preparation H for a long time, because prolonged use of local medicines can cause allergic reactions. In this case, stop treatment. Your doctor will give you appropriate treatment;
• if bleeding occurs;
• if the disorder persists.
