Description
Medical device against chronic constipation in adults and children.
Macrogol is neither absorbed nor fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa, and is eliminated in the stool. In fact, thanks to its affinity for water, it softens stool through osmotic action, facilitating evacuation without causing cramps, abdominal pain, or emergency conditions. Its effectiveness does not diminish over time.
Furthermore, the simethicone present in the formulation, thanks to its anti-foaming action, is effective in absorbing gastrointestinal gas associated with constipation.

How to use
Children 1 to 6 years: 1 sachet per day.
Adults and children 6 years and older: 2 sachets per day.
It is recommended to take the product between meals. If the condition persists after taking the product, consult your doctor. Take the product directly from the sachet or dilute it first in a little water.

Components
Macrogol 4,000, simethicone; excipients: water, sucralose, orange flavoring, vegetable glycerin, polysorbate 80, sucrose esters, potassium sorbate.

Warnings
Do not take Redipeg if you have:
- intestinal stenosis;
- intestinal perforation;
- irritable bowel syndrome (e.g. Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis).
Do not take if you have intestinal obstruction.
There is no experience with its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so it is recommended to take Redipeg only when necessary and under medical advice. In patients with actual impairment, dosage adjustment is not necessary. Treatment with Redipeg should not exceed 2 weeks. Treatment can be repeated if necessary. Prolonged use may be necessary for refractory and/or chronic constipation. This type of refractory constipation can be caused by medications, painkillers (opioids), and medications used to treat Parkinson's disease (anticholinergics), or may occur in conditions such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease.
Occasionally, gastrointestinal disturbances, rumbling, abdominal pain, nausea, and mild diarrhea may occur (especially initially). Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions (rash and hives) may occur. However, if intolerance or other side effects occur, discontinue treatment immediately and consult your doctor. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
When taken concomitantly with other medications, Redipeg may alter their bioavailability. In particular, the osmotic power of macrogol and the increased speed of gastrointestinal transit it induces may negatively affect their efficacy. Therefore, it is advisable to delay taking the product for at least 2 hours after taking oral medications or dietary supplements. In any case, consult your doctor before taking Redipeg if you are currently taking other medications.

Do not take the product after the expiry date.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take the product only if necessary and after consulting a doctor. During treatment with Redipeg, it is advisable to follow a suitable diet and take oral rehydration solutions (ORS) to prevent dehydration.
It is also recommended to consult your doctor. Do not use Redipeg for more than 30 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Do not take if you are intolerant to the product. Do not take if you have a known hypersensitivity to the ingredients or polyethylene glycol. Each sachet is for single use only and should be opened only immediately before use. Simethicone may interfere with the effectiveness of some diagnostic reagents, such as guaiac gum.

Conservation
Store Redipeg in a dry place away from direct sources of heat or light.
Open the sachet only when in use.
Keep the device at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C.
