What is it and what is it for?
Reparil is an anti-inflammatory drug for topical skin use.

Reparil is used for minor trauma (joint and muscle pain resulting from trauma).

Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.


What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use Reparil
• if you are allergic to the active substances or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
• on open lesions (wounds), mucous membranes and areas of skin treated with radiation.


Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Reparil.

If you use this medicine, there is no risk of habituation (resistance to the action of the medicine) and dependence.
Since this is a medicine for skin application, use this medicine only externally.

If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to salicylates, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine, as you are at greater risk of developing asthma attacks, local swelling of the skin and mucous membranes (Quincke's edema) or hives than other patients.
Avoid contact with eyes.

Do not use the medicine for prolonged periods. Medicines for cutaneous use (on the skin) may cause sensitization phenomena.

This medicine contains lavender oil and bitter orange blossom oil as fragrances, along with d-limonene, farnesol, and linalool. These substances may cause allergic reactions.


Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

In rare cases, hypersensitivity (allergy) reactions such as redness, peeling (loss of the top layer of skin), skin dehydration, rash, erythema, dermatitis, itching, hives may occur.

Topical application of salicylate-containing medicinal products, especially if applied to large areas of skin, may cause the onset of systemic adverse effects affecting a specific organ (e.g. hepatic, renal or gastrointestinal adverse effects) or the entire organism (e.g. hypersensitivity reactions).

Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.
