Hypertonic means that the saline solution has a salt concentration similar to that of the sea, therefore higher than that of the human body. The use of a hypertonic solution is useful as a support in cases of: chronic sinusitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis, for the treatment and prevention of ear infections, and post-surgery in patients undergoing sinus surgery.
How to use
The isotonic solution is obtained by dissolving a sachet of salts in the nasal douche and adding 250 ml of warm water.
