The Moderma Flex closed bag is a one-piece medical device, indicated for stool collection. A triangular plate with rounded edges, approximately 100 x 100 mm, maximizes comfort and safety in areas subject to traction. SoftFlex hydrocolloid: combines high resistance and exceptional skin tolerability. Ideal for all skin types, it does not irritate upon removal. Self-supporting protective barrier with integrated micro alveoli: extremely flexible, it adapts perfectly to the skin and allows it to breathe, preserving its hydrolipidic balance. Transparent protective film with a tab and cutting guide facilitates inspection, preparation, and application of the hydrocolloid. Quiet Film laminated film with 4 layers is anti-rust, anti-odor, soft and gentle on the skin. Anatomical shape. Comfort Wear non-woven fabric coating, present on both sides or only in contact with the body if transparent, does not retain moisture and is soft, breathable, and dries easily. Skin-colored for greater discretion. AF300 filter with 100% activated carbon, active surface area 300 mm2, protected by two special Gore membranes, a gas-permeable, oil- and liquid-proof material located in the apical area to allow full use of the bag, prevents swelling, prevents leaks, does not require a filter cover.
Non-sterile. Single use. Free from latex, DEHP, DBP, and BBP.
Duration of use: it is recommended to keep the bag in place for 12 to 48 hours.
Components
Plate: EMA support; SoftFlex hydrocolloid made of PIB, gelatin, CMC, pectin and cotton fibres; Protective film.
Bag: ComfortWear lining in PE Spunbond TNT; Multilayer polymer film in EVA, PVDC and Cl LDPE.
Filter: 100% activated carbon in incinerated viscose + deodorant activators with an active surface area of 300 mm2 ; Internal and external Gore e-PTFTE membranes; EMA protection capsule.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 60 months.
