Descriptive sheet Conveen: Reusable Sleeping Bag
Description
The Conveen Bed Bag is a reusable urine collection bag for at least three days. This bag is recommended for urinary incontinence. The bag is designed for connection to urethral sheaths or catheters. It has a capacity of 1500 ml and is equipped with a non-reflux valve, which prevents urine from flowing back.
The bag has a drain valve on the bottom for emptying urine. It can be opened and closed multiple times without losing functionality. It is connected to a 90 cm long connecting tube. The tubes are made of a very sturdy material that absolutely prevents kinking and consequent constriction of the tube, which would block flow. The tube can be shortened so the patient can choose the most comfortable size. The back of the bag is lined with a soft non-woven fabric, which reduces the risk of allergies and irritation if the bag is used as a leg bag. It has a triple welded seal that ensures its sturdiness. The materials from which the bag is made are very sturdy and allow it to be used, after rinsing, for at least three days.
Not sterile.
Components
The bag is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
The front wall is striped, clear, and gray, while the back is white. The transparent section allows you to monitor the appearance of the collected urine, but the stripes make the bag less visible and more discreet. A layer of non-woven fabric is welded to the back wall to prevent direct contact between the plastic and the skin, reducing the risk of allergies and skin irritation.
On the top side there are two loops that allow you to easily attach the bag to the bed using a handle.
The connecting tube is made of PVC and is connected to a white polypropylene fitting that is inserted by the user once the desired length has been determined, for attachment to catheters or sheaths. The connector is closed with a gray polyethylene cap.
The grey ABS drain valve is inserted on the underside of the bag and closes with an audible click system.
