FLEXIMA ACTIVE O'CONVEX
Class I medical device.
Colostomy collection bag, has an ergonomic shape that adapts effectively to the abdominal shape.
It is made of a multilayer film that is completely impermeable to liquids and gases and, in contact with the skin, does not create any rustling thanks to the non-woven polyethylene fabric coating that allows correct skin transpiration.
The bag is available with an inspection window, combining the benefits of an opaque bag, for greater discretion, and an inspection window that facilitates the correct positioning of the skin protector around the stoma.
The bag is also equipped with a new-generation filter impregnated with activated carbon, which allows for the effective release of gases that form inside it, deodorizing them and minimizing the risk of swelling.
Components
Collection bag: multilayer ethyl vinyl acetate and polyethylene copolymer, impermeable to liquids and gases. External microfiber lining with two layers of beige polyethylene non-woven fabric (TNT) with an inspection window.
Skin protector: A flower-shaped hydrocolloid adhesive made from a blend of polyisobutylene, carboxymethylcellulose, and pectin. The hydrocolloid is also layered on a polyethylene (PE) film that extends beyond the edges of the hydrocolloid.
Filter: high-performance, impregnated with activated carbon and contained within a PTFE casing, permeable to gases but impermeable to liquids.
