SenSura Mio Convex Flip for colostomy with lining with inspection opening, is a one-piece bag indicated for the collection of waste from subjects with a colostomy.
Thanks to Bodyfit Technology, SenSura Mio devices feature an elastic adhesive that allows them to adapt perfectly to skin irregularities, offering instant high adhesion for as long as necessary, safety during use and intact skin upon removal.
The adhesive consists of two layers:
- the innermost layer has a special mesh structure, incorporating small hydrocolloids: upon contact with waste, it transforms into a cohesive and compact gel, highly resistant to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the risk of leaks while maintaining the correct skin moisture level, promoting tissue repair;
- in the outermost and thinnest layer, the elastic capacity of the adhesive allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin, offering high instant adhesion and consequent safety in use.
SenSura Mio Convex Flip is a solution for people with protruding abdominal shapes, perfectly and securely fitting bulges, hernias, and curves. The star-shaped petals hug the body without creating folds or creases.
The ring stabilizes the central area so the stoma has the necessary support. The flat plate is suitable for people with regular abdominal shapes. Thanks to BodyFit™ Technology, it is made of an elastic adhesive. It has an oval shape and its elastic structure ensures adhesion, safety, skin protection, and atraumatic removal on all peristomal skin surfaces.
It is available both in a version that can be cut to the desired size (following the guide printed on the protective mask of the adhesive surface) and in a pre-cut version.
The SenSura Mio range has a turquoise adhesive removal tab for increased visibility, and a thumb-shaped grip for easy grip.
There is also a simple cutting guide: the cutting circles are soft, there are different cutting sizes with strong contrasts for users with limited vision, and the circles do not intersect.
The bag
The bag has a closed bottom and is lined, allowing for complete discretion of the contents.
The color of the bag is innovative and discreet, specially designed to not be visible under clothing.
It is entirely covered in Ökotex fabric for greater comfort in contact with the skin, water-repellent and has an inspection window on the back for careful monitoring of the stoma and effluent.
The bag is equipped with a circular filtration system. The filter consists of a very large, circular pre-filter area that allows it to trap any type of effluent before it comes into contact with the filter membranes. This prevents clogging. The activated carbon filter is positioned inside the bag itself, at the front, under the inspection pocket, and ensures deodorization.

Conservation
It is recommended to store the product in its original, intact packaging, away from light and humidity, at a constant temperature between 15°C and 30°C.
Shelf life of intact packaging: 36 months.
