Ileostomy bag with lining and inspection opening, suitable for collecting waste from subjects with an ileostomy.
The open-bottom bag features an easy-to-use drain with a hide-away opening that allows you to fold the drain back on itself and secure it with the two side flaps on a Velcro point located underneath the fabric. This ensures maximum discretion of the bag, which is reduced in size.
The lined pouch allows for complete discretion of the contents. It is entirely lined with water-repellent Oekotex fabric and features a viewing window on the back for careful monitoring of the stoma and discharge.
The bag is equipped with a circular filtration system. The filter consists of a very large, circular pre-filter area that allows it to trap any type of effluent before it comes into contact with the filter membranes. This prevents clogging. The activated carbon filter is positioned inside the bag itself, at the front, under the inspection pocket, and ensures deodorization.
The bag features a flange for attaching the plate. The Click attachment system is specifically designed to ensure protection and safety.
It has an opening button facing the abdomen to avoid involuntary openings.
The wave shape of the attachment allows for greater flexibility from the mechanical system.
Contains no latex or phthalates.

How to use
Preparation
Using a pair of curved scissors and the supplied cutting guide, cut a hole in the baseplate so that it fits the shape and size of your stoma. You can measure the size and shape of your stoma using the provided measuring guide. To reduce the risk of leakage and skin problems, it is very important that the hole fits snugly over the stoma.
Place the bag on a flat surface with the fastening system facing down. Close the opening by folding the end of the opening upward three times so that the Velcro strip is visible. Fold the two turquoise tabs inward to secure the Velcro. The opening can be hidden using the Velcro dot above the opening or the Velcro strip located in the middle of the bag.
Thoroughly clean the stoma and surrounding skin. The skin must be completely dry before applying the baseplate.

Application
Remove the protective film from the adhesive. Place the baseplate around the stoma and apply light pressure to ensure quick adhesion and a perfect fit between the baseplate hole and the stoma. The adhesive should adhere perfectly to the stoma. To prevent leaks, it is important to ensure a perfect seal around the stoma. To do this, apply pressure to the baseplate/abdominal pouch, starting from the area around the stoma and then pressing the adhesive onto the skin. Run a finger all the way around the stoma to ensure the adhesive is perfectly sealed. Press the adhesive, working from the stoma outward to the edges, to ensure complete contact between the adhesive and the skin.
Make sure the plate is dry and clean (use only water to clean the plate). Make sure the locking ring is open. Match the lower seam of the bag with the lower seam of the plate.
Press the pouch and the adhesive baseplate together at the bottom using the middle fingers of both hands. Apply gentle pressure with your index fingers on the top of the attachment system until the pouch is positioned correctly on the adhesive baseplate. Close the locking ring by pressing it. A click confirms that the pouch is securely attached to the baseplate.

How to empty the bag
When needed, open the opening and empty the bag into the bathroom. Wipe the opening with toilet paper. After emptying the bag, fold and close the opening again.

Removal
Remove the pouch by opening the locking ring. Pinch the turquoise tab between two fingers to open it. Grasp the removal tab and remove the pouch by pulling it upward and carefully removing it from the baseplate. Gently remove the baseplate using the removal tab on the baseplate and slowly roll the baseplate downward. Apply gentle pressure to the skin with your free hand to aid removal.
