SenSura® Mio Convex is a closed pouch with an adaptable convex adhesive baseplate that provides stability in the peristomal area while remaining flexible. The elastic adhesive adapts to the individual shape of the body and the pouch while remaining discreet.
It features a curved shape that effectively adapts to uneven skin, deep-seated areas, and stomas that require support or help protruding. Combined with an elastic adhesive, it provides a more effective fit to individual body shapes. The design of the filter and pouch ensures discreetness.
The adaptable convex plate remains permanently attached to the pouch. To change the pouch, the entire device is removed and replaced. The Light convex plate is ideal for stomas with skin-level openings that require gentle protrusion assistance or for slightly deeper areas where a slight curvature is needed to achieve a good grip.
Furthermore, it is made up of various pre-cut or cut-to-size formats for maximum customization, accompanied by bags in different sizes available in the transparent version or with an inspection window.

The pre-filter's function is to protect the activated carbon membrane, which is highly sensitive to feces. This prevents the circular filter from clogging up, allowing air to flow through the filter longer and reducing bag swelling.
In fact, the circular filter has been shown to reduce pouch ballooning by up to 61%. The circular filter will improve discretion and help you sleep better at night.
