SERTADERM 2 g/100 g cream
Sertaconazole nitrate
What is it and what is it for?
Topical treatment of skin mycoses such as dermatophytosis, tinea pedis, tinea capitis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, tinea barbae and tinea manus; candidiasis (moniliasis) and pityriasis versicolor (Malassetia furfur and Pityrosporum orbiculare).
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Warnings and precautions
The product should not be used for ophthalmic treatments.
After topical application of large quantities of the drug, no traces of it have ever been detected in plasma; however, its complete safety in pregnant women has not yet been demonstrated; therefore, the risk/benefit ratio should be evaluated before using the product during pregnancy or by breastfeeding mothers.
There are currently no studies on pediatric use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use for ophthalmic treatments. There are currently no studies on the use of this drug in pediatrics.
