What is it and what is it for?
SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL is indicated for the treatment of localized adiposity accompanied by cellulite in adults.
Contact your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 15-20 days .


What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use SOMATOLINE
- if you are allergic to the active substances levothyroxine and escin or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
- If you are intolerant to iodine.
- During pregnancy and breastfeeding (see PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING ).


Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL.

Use of skin products, especially if prolonged, can cause sensitization and lead to side effects. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
Do not use the product near mucous membranes or on damaged skin.
In case of pre-existing thyroid problems, particular caution is recommended when using SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% GEL.
It is advisable to consult your doctor even if you have had problems in the past.

Children and adolescents
Do not use in children and adolescents.


Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Very rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people):
- Skin rash (erythema, itching)
- Hyperthyroidism
- Hypothyroidism
- Graves' disease
