GRANULAR STOPPER 20 SACHETS

Description
Medical device CE 0426 (Dir. 93/42/EEC), class IIa. Stopper is effectively used in cases of accelerated intestinal transit (acute and chronic diarrhea), in the presence of ileostomy or ileoanal anastomosis, or following digestive tract surgery, including obesity surgery, in cases of diarrhea due to irritable bowel syndrome, in cases of "traveler's diarrhea," or to improve fecal continence in the presence of fluid bowel movements. Lemon flavor.

Ingredients
Diosmectite, orange flavor, citric acid, silicon dioxide, acesulfame K, sucralose.

How to use
Adults: 1 sachet in 100 ml of liquid 3 times a day.
Children >6 years: 2-3 sachets per day.
Children >2 years: 1-2 sachets per day.
Before administering the product to children, it is advisable to seek medical advice.
Each sachet should be used only once after opening. Dilute the contents of one sachet in a glass of water or other liquid. For infants, the contents of one sachet can be resuspended in a bottle with 50 ml of water or mixed with any other beverage and divided into 2-3 doses throughout the day. Stopper can be dissolved in semi-solid foods. To obtain a homogeneous suspension, slowly pour the powder into the liquid and mix well. It is recommended to take Stopper between main meals.
In children, treatment of acute diarrhea should be accompanied by the administration of an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to avoid dehydration.
In adults, if necessary, it is advisable to take ORS during treatment with Stopper to ensure proper rehydration.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use for more than 10 consecutive days unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor. If symptoms persist, contact your doctor. In children, if diarrhea persists for more than 3 days, consult your doctor. Do not take the product while lying down. Do not use the device after the expiration date shown on the box or sachet. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
Each sachet is for single use only and should be opened immediately before use. Do not reuse partially used sachets, as this may cause risks such as product ineffectiveness or contamination.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. If adverse effects occur (constipation, intestinal pain, flatulence), discontinue use and consult your doctor.
If you experience any adverse effects other than those listed in this leaflet, consult your doctor.
Do not use if you have gastric or intestinal lesions or if you suffer from chronic constipation, intestinal irritation, or intestinal blockage. Do not take the medical device while using other devices or oral medications: the adsorbent effect of diosmectite may negatively affect their effectiveness. The medical device contains aluminum derived from diosmectite: consult your doctor if you are taking other products or medications containing diosmectite, clays, or aluminum compounds. Consult your doctor before taking the Stopper if you are taking concomitant medications.

Side effects
There are no known long-term side effects associated with the use of the device. Constipation may occur in case of overdose. If you experience any side effects other than those listed, contact your doctor.

Contraindications
Do not administer the product to children under 2 years of age. Do not use the device if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the components. Do not use the device if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Conservation
Store at controlled room temperature (<25°C) avoid exposure to direct sources of heat, light and humidity.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 30 months.
