Description Accu-Chek Guide is the blood glucose monitoring system indicated for people with diabetes for home self-monitoring and for in vitro diagnostic use by healthcare professionals in clinical settings.
The Accu-Chek Guide system is a unique solution designed to meet the diverse needs of people with diabetes and healthcare professionals. The system's features, such as the patented, spill-proof oval bottle and new test strips with a large blood sample application area, represent a host of smart solutions that simplify blood glucose testing.
The system offers excellent accuracy and precision. Accu-Chek Guide test strips have been subjected to a wide variety of tests, including external studies and extensive internal testing. Study results demonstrate that the test strips provide accurate and reliable readings under a variety of conditions.
Accu-Chek Guide strips boast three main features:
- Spill-resistant oval bottle: The innovative design of the strip container prevents spills and makes it easy to remove just one strip at a time. The oval shape makes it pocket-sized, and the protruding cap is easy to open.
- Large blood sample application area: The new Accu-Chek Guide test strips allow you to apply a small blood sample anywhere on the wide tip, highlighted in yellow and intuitively indicated by red blood drops drawn near the area.
- Excellent accuracy (10/10): The Accu-Chek Guide system complies with ISO 15197:2013/EN ISO 15197:2015 and offers accuracy exceeding the required requirements, ensuring reliable results.

System accuracy :
1. System accuracy results for glucose concentrations less than 100 mg/dL (less than 5.55 mmol/L):
- within ±5 mg/dl (within ±0.28 mmol/l): 175/186 (94.1%);
- within ±10 mg/dl (within ±0.56 mmol/l): 186/186 (100%);
- within ±15 mg/dl (within ±0.83 mmol/l): 186/186 (100%).
2. System accuracy results for glucose concentrations equal to or greater than 100 mg/dL (equal to or greater than 5.55 mmol/L):
- within ±5 mg/dl: 296/414 (71.5%);
- within ±10 mg/dl: 404/414 (97.6%);
- within ±15 mg/dl: 413/414 (99.8%);
3. System accuracy results for glucose concentrations between 14 mg/ml (0.78 mmol/l) and 578 mg/ml (32.1 mmol/l):
- within ±15 mg/dl or within ±15% (within ±0.83 mmol/l or within ±15%): 599/600 (99.8%).

How to use Read the test strip package insert carefully.
Place the sample on the suction area of the strip, highlighted in yellow. Wait approximately 4 seconds for the measurement cycle to complete.
The yellow test zone on the strip provides visual confirmation of correct sample application.
Warnings Lipemic (triglyceride) samples >1800 mg/dL (>20.3 mmol/L) may produce elevated glucose results.
Do not use this system if you are receiving intravenous infusion of ascorbic acid.
Do not use this system during xylose uptake testing.
Conservation Store strips at a temperature between 4°C and 30°C.
Test strips can be used until the expiration date indicated on the package.
This applies to test strips from a new, unopened bottle, as well as test strips from a previously opened bottle.
Format Pack of 25 strips.
