Description
Disposable medical device in the form of a glycerol-based suppository, indicated to facilitate evacuation in cases of constipation.
Glycerol exerts a mechanical laxative action thanks to its mechanism of attracting water into the stool, softening it and causing peristalsis and intestinal evacuation.
Falqui is indicated for the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.

How to use
Remove the wrapper by separating the two flaps and extracting the suppository. If the suppositories appear soft, soak the wrapper in cold water before opening. Insert the suppository into the rectum, inserting the pointed end first. Wash your hands after inserting the suppository.
Adults: 1 suppository as needed, for a maximum of 1 or 2 administrations per day.

Components
1 suppository contains 2,250 mg of glycerol.

Warnings
Single-use device. Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more components. In case of persistent constipation, it is important to consult your doctor to rule out other conditions. Keep out of reach of children. Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. Use for longer periods requires a doctor's prescription after appropriate assessment of each individual case. In cases of constipation, it is recommended to first correct eating habits by supplementing your daily diet with adequate fiber and water intake. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. There are no studies available on the use of this product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The expiration date refers to the unopened and properly stored product.

Conservation
Store in a dry place at a temperature between 4°C and 30°C, away from heat sources and protected from direct light.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 60 months.
