PROKTIS/M PLUS RECTAL OINTMENT 30G WITH CANNULA

Description

Adjuvant treatment of the repair processes of the anorectal canal after proctological surgery, internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, cryptitis, anal fissures, fissures, perianal fistulas.
It works thanks to the presence of white petrolatum, vaseline oil, and hyaluronic acid which, thanks to their water-retaining properties, create a moist environment that hydrates, accelerates, and improves the natural process of tissue re-epithelialization and repair.

How to use
Adults and children: apply twice a day, one in the morning and one in the evening, if possible after bowel movements.
Wash your hands before and after using the medical device.
Break the seal of the tube with the back cap. Apply an appropriate amount of product depending on the area to be treated, massaging gently. Reseal the tube with the cap.
Intrarectal application is facilitated by the special cannula included in the package.
Screw the cannula onto the tube. Remove the cap from the cannula. Squeeze the tube until the ointment comes out of the holes on the cannula. Insert the cannula into the anal cavity and squeeze the tube again to release a small amount of ointment. After use, clean the cannula and replace the protective cap.
It is recommended to use the medical device for personal purposes.
If necessary, PROKTIS-M PLUS rectal ointment can be used for prolonged periods, in any case after 30 days of continuous use, suspend treatment for a week.

Components
White petrolatum and vaseline oil (953 mg/g), hyaluronic acid sodium salt (0.1 mg/g), propylene glycol, laureth-9, escin beta-sitosterol phytosome, glycyrrhetinic acid phytosome, BHT.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not ingest.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as no specific clinical studies have been carried out, consult your doctor before using the device.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product.
There are no known interactions with other products, therefore it is advisable to consult your doctor before using PROKTIS-M PLUS rectal ointment in combination with other medical devices or drugs for rectal use.
Use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products may cause sensitization. If this occurs, or if other side effects occur, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
After first opening, do not use the product if there are visible signs of degradation such as yellowing or an unpleasant odor.

Conservation
Store tightly closed away from light and heat.
The expiration date refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored properly. Do not use after the expiration date or if the packaging is opened or damaged.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
