Descriptive sheet XIOGLYCAN GEL
Description
Medical device in gel form for topical use based on polysulfated galactosaminoglycan, hyaluronic acid, and other components with high hydrating and soothing properties, useful for restoring the physiological condition of the skin, even in cases where it is altered by peripheral circulatory diseases or by edema and hematomas.
It helps prevent and treat local skin conditions (dystrophies, dyschromia, xerosis, flaking, dryness), also associated with the presence of venous diseases (venous varices, phlebitis, and superficial thrombophlebitis), and hydrates the skin in these situations.
Local treatment of edema and hematomas induced by trauma and superficial contusions.
How to use
To open the tube for the first time, pierce the protective membrane using the perforator located at the top of the cap. Apply an appropriate amount of gel to the area to be treated and surrounding areas, generally 4-6 cm of gel, massaging gently until completely absorbed. Do not use on damaged skin. To treat larger areas, increase the amount of gel to 10-12 cm. Repeat the application up to 3 times a day. Close the tube tightly after each use. Continue treatment until symptoms disappear, gradually reducing the number of daily applications. If symptoms persist or no improvement is noted after 10 days of treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
