The presence of essential oils (Thyme, Geranium, Tea Tree) aids in faster healing by helping maintain the skin's normal hydrolipidic film. It also provides a strong barrier effect, acting as a natural protection against insect vectors (flies, mosquitoes, sandflies, and other flying insects), limiting the presence of eggs and larvae in the event of skin damage.
Some plants possess long-recognized and studied disinfectant and healing properties. Among these, Hollyhock, Tea Tree, and Thyme were selected for their unique characteristics and incorporated into a unique product, Zeep, which can be used to treat skin lesions, including: lesions with extensive loss of substance, lacerated wounds, penetrating wounds, and bite wounds.
