Description
Medical device in the form of chewable tablets, mainly characterized by the combination of 3 elements: calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide and simethicone.
Once in the gastroesophageal lumen, the product neutralizes the pH of gastric juices and acid vapors, providing a protective and soothing effect on the gastroesophageal mucosa. This allows ZENTIVA ACIDITY AND REFLUX to act rapidly against pain and heartburn caused by hyperacidity. The presence of simethicone, a substance that reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their expulsion, reduces the sensation of bloating and abdominal distension.
Indicated in the treatment of heartburn and stomach pain caused by excess acidity and in the treatment of symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux.
The product is also useful in case of digestive difficulties, heartburn and heaviness (symptoms associated with dyspepsia).
Pleasant chamomile flavor.

Ingredients
Calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, simethicone, sorbitol, sodium citrate, magnesium stearate, chamomile aromatic extract, hydroxypropylcellulose, maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, sucralose.
Gluten free.
Lactose free.

How to use
Adults and children over 12 years of age: We recommend taking one tablet as needed (if you experience burning and/or pain) after main meals and in the evening before bed. Chew well before swallowing.
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 4 tablets per day.

Warnings
Product not intended for use by children under 12 years of age.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components.
In case of adverse reactions, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.
The product may interfere with the absorption of oral medications. Therefore, it is recommended to consult a doctor if taking oral medications at the same time, which should always be administered at least 2 hours apart. Do not use the product for more than 2 weeks. If further needs arise, consult a doctor.
This product contains approximately 28 mg of sodium, approximately 333 mg of calcium and approximately 50 mg of magnesium per single dose (equal to 1 2.4 g tablet).
Do not use if you have kidney disease or dysfunction. Consult your doctor if you have hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels), hypermagnesemia (high blood magnesium levels), nephrocalcinosis, or recurrent calcium-containing kidney stones.
Mild and transient side effects may occur after taking the product, such as bloating, abdominal pain, belching, flatulence, and constipation. Following the directions for use reduces the risk of unwanted side effects. There are no contraindications for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but it is recommended to consult a doctor before use.
Do not use if the package is opened or damaged, or if there are visible changes in the appearance of the tablets.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.

Conservation
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. The product should be stored between 8°C and 25°C, in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources. The expiration date refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored correctly.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
Do not save tablet portions for later use. Do not dispose of the product via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. This will help protect the environment.
